I bring 20 years of experience to the lesson room—mixing, arranging, and performing with different instruments, across a variety of genres, piece arrangements, and group orchestrations. Students will learn the disciplines of a practicing musician while stepping outside the mold of tired lesson routines. My approach to learning music evokes genuine enjoyment in students and consistent engagement with their instruments. I am a results-driven teacher with a longstanding record of previous successes.
Meet your Instructor…
My curriculum brings students on an ever-winding journey as they learn the skills of a musician through their own personal tastes and muses. Under my instruction, we won't just be learning our favorite songs. From shorthand transcription to Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), we can learn to use an array of music-making tools to make our own music as well. Students will be equipped with an extensive approach to technique, theory, ear training, and sight-reading, as well as a lifelong joy that only a musician can cultivate.
